Security Notice
We have identified an issue that permits administrators to merge user accounts that they should not be able to edit. It is not possible to gain any permissions this way, but since this is a potentially destructive action, we do classify this as a security problem. Administrators are strongly encouraged to install the latest updates as soon as possible.
All WoltLab Cloud customers have already been patched to address this issue.

- Optimized menu structure: The articles in the manual are now better grouped by topic. It is also easier to switch to the next or previous article.
- Improved search function: The search function is now faster and better optimized for searching the manual.
- Modern design: Clear structures make the manual appear tidier and therefore clearer.
- More content: We have added numerous articles to the manual to answer recurring questions and explain individual functions in more detail.
- Remarks for the WoltLab Cloud: At the relevant places we have added notes in case a statement only applies to on-premise customers.

- MySQL 5.5.35 (or newer) / MariaDB 5.5.47 (or newer) / MariaDB 10.0.22 (or newer)
- Current Webbrowser (Chrome 85+, Firefox 81+, Safari 13+, Microsoft Edge 85+)
Installation Guide
- Download the installation archive onto your computer.
- Extract the archive.
- Upload the files install.php, test.php and WCFSetup.tar.gz onto your webserver.
- Start the installation by navigating with your webbrowser to the test.php.
Experimental Upgrade for WoltLab Suite 5.2
You can now upgrade existing WoltLab Suite 5.2 installations, but please keep in mind that the upgrade is EXPERIMENTAL and should not be used in production environments.
