We have just released new versions of our products:
- WoltLab Suite 5.4.2
Stability releases (also known as "minor releases") aim to solve existing problems in the current version. Like every stability release, they do not introduce new features; It is strongly recommended to apply these updates.
How to Apply Updates
Open your Administration Control Panel and navigate to Configuration > Packages > List Packages. Please click on the button Search for Updates located in the right corner above the package list.

WoltLab Suite Calendar
- Exporting an empty calendar resulted in an error. 5.4
WoltLab Suite Forum
- The new option Default value for "Official Posts" was added. 5.4
- Accessing some threads resulted in high load times under certain circumstances. 5.4
- Threads without posts no longer cause an error when they are being accessed. 5.4
WoltLab Suite Core
- Incorrect values entered in permissions for file sizes could lead to an error message under PHP 8. 5.4
- On a fresh install, Imagick is preselected as a graphics library only if WebP support is included. 5.4
- The field label when inverting permissions for pages and boxes was incorrect when editing. 5.4
- Inverting permissions is ignored if the page or box is visible to everyone. 5.4
- The rich embeds are suppressed in the AMP output. 5.4
- Uploaded WebP files are correctly recognized as an image in more places. 5.4
- Top level items in the ACP menu are now clickable in full again. 5.4
- The background color of some items was incorrect in mobile view. 5.4
- Migration of multi-factor data from Hanashi Development plugin during WoltLab Suite 5.3 upgrade ignores remnants of data of already deleted users. 5.4
- Account security could not be accessed if the user has an active CLI session. Such erroneous sessions will be deleted during the update. 5.4
- The generation of the WebP variant of the style cover image during the upgrade from WoltLab Suite 5.3 now ignores missing cover images and corrects the information in the database. 5.4
- Messages from ignored users could not be expanded when debug mode was disabled. 5.4
- Smiley titles containing a " no longer cause an error message. 5.4
- IPv6 addresses in the account security session list were misleadingly masked in rare cases. 5.4
- The cursor is now placed correctly after pasting text on iOS or Safari on macOS. 5.4
- Fixed an issue when repeatedly trying to paste a link. 5.4
- Creating posts as a guest is now possible with reCAPTCHA enabled even if the username entry was initially incorrect. 5.4
- For developers: tsc no longer yields error messages when compiling the TypeScript. 5.4
- For developers: The PHP-based DDL API now behaves idempotent when renaming database columns. 5.4
